Housing Trust Golf Day 2022

A big thank you to the supporters and sponsors of our 2^nd annual Housing Trust Golf Day Fundraiser last month. Congratulations to our winners, 1^st place Gerringong Hardware, 2^nd place AON and 3^rd place Wollongong Golf Club.

You will be pleased to know we have raised $27,500 that will go directly to our Tylah West Education Scholarship in 2023. We have supported 27 tenants with scholarships for next year, from primary school children, high school kids, right through to university and tenants attending TAFE.

We would like to thank Tylah’s family for their ongoing support of the scholarship which helps tenants with the costs of their education and training needs. Together we assist in creating opportunities and building brighter futures.

Our 2023 Golf Day fundraiser will be hosted on Friday 26th May.

Record number of Housing Trust tenants awarded Tylah West Education Scholarship

A record 53 Housing Trust tenants aged five to 50-plus were awarded the annual Tylah West Education Scholarship this week (15 April), marking a significant increase from the first three scholarships in 2016 and more than doubling last year’s number.
The Traders in Purple development is unusual in that it sections off 25 per cent of homes for locals, first-home buyers, essential workers and affordable housing.
