Housing Trust Golf Day 2026

Housing Trust’s annual Golf Day is back for its 6th year on Friday 6 November at Wollongong Golf Course.

Join us for a great afternoon on the greens, bringing together local businesses, community partners and supporters to raise funds for the Housing Trust Scholarship Program.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or picking up a club for the first time, there’s something for everyone. Play off the best shot, enjoy some friendly competition and spend time with your team, all while supporting scholarships that help Housing Trust residents pursue their education and employment goals.

What’s On

There’s plenty happening both on and off the course, including:

NEW! Hole-in-One Challenge – Pay $50 for your chance to win $75,000
Hole-in-One Competition – Take your shot at winning a brand-new car
Great prizes and giveaways
Live music from 4pm
Food trucks serving spit roast, burgers and Tex-Mex favourites

$1200 OPAL card can get you to TAFE, Uni, School or college for a year
$800 car rego provides travel to study or work
$750 buys a student a laptop
$700 pays a high school students fees
$600 NBN keeps a student connected for 12 months
$500 assists uni students with costs for a year
$300 pays for work uniforms
$300 gets an apprentice a sun hat, safety glasses and boots to start work
$240 pays for a TAFE course (smart and skilled fees)
$200 buys a uni textbook
$60 tank of fuel gets a student to uni for a week

*All fees and donations towards the event are tax deductible.

Every dollar raised helps create opportunities for Housing Trust residents.

Funds raised support the Housing Trust Opportunity Scholarship, delivered in partnership with the University of Wollongong, and the Tylah West Education Scholarship, helping residents access education, training and employment opportunities.

These scholarships help remove barriers, build confidence and create pathways to brighter futures.
