Housing Trust Golf Day 2025

Housing Trust’s annual Golf Day is back for its 5th year on Friday 7 November at Wollongong Golf Course.

We’ve refreshed the format to bring more energy and variety, and we’re switching things up with a new afternoon start:

18-hole Ambrose shotgun for the competitive players
Fast Five format for the casual golfers

Plus, we’re turning up the fun with:

More prizes
Live music from 4pm
Food trucks serving spit roast, burgers, Tex Mex
New competitions including Putt for Prosecco
And the legendary Hole-in-One challenge — win a brand-new car!

If you can’t send a team, donations (including vouchers or merchandise) are always welcome and make a real difference.

Whether you’re joining us for the full 18 holes or just keen to play a few, there’s something for every kind of golfer, plus plenty of off-course fun to enjoy.

Registration opens: 10:30 AM
Tee off: 12:00 PM (Shotgun start)

Afternoon Fun Starts at 4:00 PM

Putt for Prosecco – $10 per putt for your chance to win a bottle of bubbly
Raffle Draw – packed with great prizes, buy tickets on the day
Live Music & Food Trucks – Join us from 4:00 PM for live music and food as we wrap up the day together
Presentation – Come together for a quick presentation where we will draw raffle prizes and hear from a 2025 Tylah West Education Scholarship recipient.

Donations large or small can make an impact on the lives of our tenants

$1200 OPAL card can get you to TAFE, Uni, School or college for a year
$800 car rego provides travel to study or work
$750 buys a student a laptop
$700 pays a high school students fees
$600 NBN keeps a student connected for 12 months
$500 assists uni students with costs for a year
$300 pays for work uniforms
$300 gets an apprentice a sun hat, safety glasses and boots to start work
$240 pays for a TAFE course (smart and skilled fees)
$200 buys a uni textbook
$60 tank of fuel gets a student to uni for a week

*All fees and donations towards the event are tax deductible.

The event will be a great opportunity for participants to socialise and network with members of Illawarra’s housing and property sectors, as well as the chance to meet one of our scholarship recipient on the day and hear first-hand about the difference your support is making.

All funds raised will directly support Housing Trust Scholarships, including our Opportunity Scholarship with University of Wollongong (UOW) and our Tylah West Education Scholarship which assist Housing Trust residents with their education and employment goals. Find out more at the link below
