Bob spent two years sleeping rough riding the train of a night between central and Kiama.
After two rough years Bob found secure housing through Together Home, a program dedicated to providing people sleeping rough with long term housing solutions, as well as wrap around support and services.
“I feel very safe. I go home, I’ve got a place to stay and I’ve got no worries about where I’m going to sleep the next night. I don’t have to worry about which train I’ll get tomorrow night. What I’ve got to do (now) is just get a new life, which I’m trying to do.”
Bob shared his story with Sydney Morning Herald in 2020, you can read it here.
