2021 IMB Bank Illawarra Business Awards Finalists

We’re proud to announce that Housing Trust has been named a finalist in the following categories for the Illawarra Business Awards:

  • Outstanding Employee – Nikayla Beer-Herring
  • Excellence in Customer Service
  • Outstanding Business Leader – Michele Adair
  • Outstanding Community Organisation

This year we were pleased to see two members of our team be acknowledged amongst their peers for their outstanding leadership skills. This includes Housing Services Manager Nikayla Beer-Herring for Outstanding Employee and Housing Trust CEO Michele Adair for Outstanding Business Leader.

A big thank you to the entire Housing Trust team who even during the most difficult of times last year persevered and continued to demonstrate outstanding service to our tenants and community.

The winners will be announced in October ahead of the live ceremony in November 2021.

Record number of Housing Trust tenants awarded Tylah West Education Scholarship

A record 53 Housing Trust tenants aged five to 50-plus were awarded the annual Tylah West Education Scholarship this week (15 April), marking a significant increase from the first three scholarships in 2016 and more than doubling last year’s number.
The Traders in Purple development is unusual in that it sections off 25 per cent of homes for locals, first-home buyers, essential workers and affordable housing.
